hello,
does this app run on an iPAD in offline modus as well? or does it need the internet access? I’m asking because of probable high roaming costs if coming from Germany I would use the app online in Israel.
thanks and köszönöm for your szives answer,
P

Hello Peter,
almost everything works also offline, the only exception being the translator.
In offline mode you can manage your trips, add expenses and convert currencies.
The only drawback when working offline is that the app cannot update currency rates, therefore it relies on previously fetched rates.
You can of course refresh the affected expenses once you are online again.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Károly

Will this app eventually work with icloud?
May 07, 2012 @ 21:59:08
Thanks, JoshZ!
No, it is not going to use iCloud (in order to support pre-iOS5 users).
App data will be shared via eMail.
What do you think?

Hi there,
Great app…. However would love to see th iCloud feature in use between iPad and iPhone.
I have both and it would be great to have this enabled so data can be transferred / entered on both devices.
Thanks

I appreciate the addition of the date field in Travel Assistant. If it would be possible, it would be nice if you could add that field to the part that e-mails the results of the records to oneself for insertion in spreadsheets. I have been using the description field for dates because my records must have dates of purchases associated with them. If you could include a field for the dates in the csv file that is e-mailed, that would make it more useful for someone like me (and others who travel and need dates associated with their expenses).
Thanks for doing this app. It is the best I’ve found since the days of using Expense on my old Palm PID.
